Eastern Building Solutions is a North Carolina Licensed residential and commercial general contractor. We specialize in new construction, additions, renovations, and metal buildings. We having been serving Wayne County and surrounding areas since 2012.
Eastern Building Solutions is a family owned business founded by Matt and Trudi Rast in 2012. Matt Rast is the Vice President of Operations. Matt has been working in the construction industry for the past 20 years. Matt holds a BS in Construction Management with a minor in general Business from East Carolina University.

Matt's career started as a framing carpenter while in college. Upon graduation Matt worked in the commercial construction industry for 12 years on projects up to 50 million dollars in total cost. In 2006 Matt received his residential contractors license. In 2012 EBS was founded and upgraded their license to intermediate building contractor after passing the NASCLA Contractors Exam. This designation is for commercial and residential contractors and is recognized in 7 states.

Since beginning operations, EBS has performed many different residential and commercial projects throughout eastern North Carolina. We have our own work crew consisting of employees with a wide range of expertise combining for more than 100 years experience in the construction industry. EBS self-preforms most of its own work with fewer than normal subcontractors involved.
